First of all, last of all
Sebastian Moody

One Night Edition 6-9pm // Friday 4th of June 2010
No Frills* Gallery: Studio 3.10 109 Edward Street
Sebastian Moody’s latest project First of all, last of all combines a range of artistic strategies with his admiration for social spaces. Inspired by a trip to Tokyo’s Golden Gai district, Moody has recreated a small bar within the gallery.
Moody says, “I’m trying to create a conceptually solid work that looks at power relations, is enjoyable, and also draws on my personal history.”
Sebastian Moody would like to sincerely thank Daniel Templeman and Brock Templeman for their invaluable assistance in this project.

November 28 2009
Studio 3.10 Lvl 3 // Metro Arts 109 Edward St
Elizabeth Willing and Danielle Woolbank’s collaborative live performance ‘Sugar Sugar’ and installation ‘Lap it Up’ employ evocative materials to seduce your senses. Sequence and sound, together with rich, sugar based ingredients make a recipe for visceral pleasures and possible repulsions. The artists explore notions of excess in a dialogue between the internal and external, texture and object, the grotesque and the abject.
