From August 2009-July 2010 No Frills* ran as part of the Metro Arts Artist-Run Initiative Program. This program provided No Frills* with a venue and continuing professional support. During this time No Frills* was generously supported by Arts Queensland, MAAP Media Bank, QUT Precincts. We were also lucky to enjoy the company of Maggie McDade, our marketing co-ordinator and critical programs assistant and some excellent volunteers (Pirrin Francis, Jane Burton and Katherine Palella).
No Frills* has since dematerialised as a formal space but directors Courtney Coombs, Antoinette J Citizen, Catherine Sagin and Kate Woodcroft continue making exhibitions as a group.
In 2012 No Frills* will launch 3projects, a program of online content and offsite events developed by local artists Sarah Byrne, Tim Kerr and Joseph Breikers.
